Disclosure: WorkstationSetup has not tested the current FlexiSpot E7 Pro or the E7 Plus Max hands-on. Every specification below is already published on this site's FlexiSpot vs UPLIFT compares. This post contains affiliate links.

The current FlexiSpot E7 Pro and the FlexiSpot E7 Plus Max are different FlexiSpot frames. The E7 Pro is the configurable two-motor desk: 25 to 50.6 inches, a 440 lb maximum static load, and included cable bits. The E7 Plus Max is the configurable four-motor, four-leg frame: a 660 lb maximum static load, a listed 51.4 inch maximum, and a frame that accepts tops up to 94.5 inches long. Final price depends on the top on both desks.

If you want UPLIFT instead, leave this page. Use FlexiSpot E7 Pro vs UPLIFT V3 or FlexiSpot E7 Plus Max vs UPLIFT V3 4-Leg. Those stay the UPLIFT decisions. This page is FlexiSpot two-motor vs FlexiSpot four-motor.

Bottom line

Get the current E7 Pro if: You want a two-motor configurable desk, a 25 inch listed minimum, and included cable bits, and a two-leg frame covers your surface. The E7 Pro starts at $399.9920%.

Get the E7 Plus Max if: You want one motor per leg, a listed 51.4 inch maximum, or a frame that accepts a top longer than a typical two-leg desk. The E7 Plus Max starts at $749.99. That starting price is a frame configuration. Price the top.

Do not treat 440 lb and 660 lb as a lifting contest. Both figures are FlexiSpot maximum static load labels, not WorkstationSetup tests. Static load is not a lifting rating. This page is not the dual-motor four-leg E7 Plus.

Who This Comparison Is For

This page is for someone already choosing between the current two-motor E7 Pro and the current four-motor E7 Plus Max. It is not a UPLIFT comparison, not the E6 Pro vs E7 Pro complete-desk decision, and not the dual-motor four-leg E7 Plus.

Do not treat an older Amazon E7 listing as the current E7 Pro. FlexiSpot also sells other E7-family frames. This page stays with the two catalog IDs already used on the live UPLIFT compares.

What We Verified

WorkstationSetup has not assembled or used either FlexiSpot. E7 Pro facts match E7 Pro vs UPLIFT V3 for the current official configuration. E7 Plus Max facts match E7 Plus Max vs UPLIFT V3 4-Leg. We do not copy an older Amazon E7 listing onto the Pro. We do not turn manufacturer claims into wobble or speed scores.

Key Difference: Two Motors vs Four

This is the buying split.

The E7 Pro is a two-motor, two-leg configurable desk. Use it when a standard dual-motor frame covers your monitors and you do not need a four-corner lift.

The E7 Plus Max puts a motor in each of four legs, with a 4-crossbeam layout on the current FlexiSpot page. Use it when the workstation is wide, equipment-heavy, or you want a top longer than a typical two-leg desk. Four motors also mean four motor cables. Plan the underside before assembly. See the cable management setup guide.

FlexiSpot lists the Plus Max frame at 61.5 pounds per box across two boxes before any desktop. We have not assembled either desk, so this page does not assign assembly time.

Winner if you want a two-motor configurable FlexiSpot: E7 Pro. Winner if you want one motor per leg: E7 Plus Max.

Key Difference: Load Labels

Both desks use a FlexiSpot maximum static load label: 440 lb on the current E7 Pro, 660 lb on the E7 Plus Max. That is the same kind of label from the same brand, and it is still not a WorkstationSetup test.

A static-load figure describes holding weight while parked. It does not prove how the desk behaves while lifting. Do not subtract 440 from 660 and call the remainder extra lifting headroom.

On the four-motor vs UPLIFT page, FlexiSpot's own dual-motor four-leg E7 Plus listing is used only to show that static and lifting numbers can differ on one desk. This page does not add that desk as a pick.

No capacity winner from the headline numbers. Confirm your desktop plus equipment weight, then read FlexiSpot's current definition for the exact model.

Key Difference: Height Range

The current E7 Pro lists 25 to 50.6 inches. The current E7 Plus Max lists 25.8 to 51.4 inches.

On those published figures, the E7 Pro reaches 0.8 inches lower and the Plus Max reaches 0.8 inches higher. Treat that as a small paper gap, not a reason to switch frames by itself.

One caution on the Plus Max figures: the current page's configuration selector labels 25.8 to 51.4 inches as a frame height without a desktop. The E7 Pro range on the V3 compare is not labeled that way. Confirm finished surface height for the top you will order.

Measure seated and standing elbow height. A desk with the larger static-load number still fails if the keyboard does not land at a usable height.

Winner for the lower listed minimum as published: E7 Pro. Winner for the higher listed maximum as published: E7 Plus Max. Confirm how each range is measured before treating 0.8 inches as decisive.

Key Difference: Tops, Keypad, and Cable Bits

Both desks are configurable. Compare finished prices, not starting tiles.

The E7 Pro starting price of $399.9920% depends on the selected size and surface. The E7 Plus Max starting price of $749.99 is the frame configuration on the current page, with laminate, bamboo, and solid wood tops selected separately. Listed desktop sizes there run from 48 by 30 up to 80 by 30 and 79 by 35 inches. The frame itself accepts tops from 47.2 to 94.5 inches long.

The Plus Max includes a touch keypad with four memory presets, a child lock, and a USB charging port in the base configuration. The E7 Pro also lists four presets. This page does not invent a Pro USB or child-lock claim that is not on the V3 compare.

Cable hardware differs on paper. The current E7 Pro lists a magnetic cover, cable tray, grip tape, and clips. The Plus Max lists a built-in fabric-wrapped magnetic cable channel and does not publish a complete included-accessory list on the current page. We have not used those parts.

Warranty headlines both say 15 years. The Plus Max page splits that: 15 years on frame, motors, and electronics, and 2 to 5 years on the desktop by material. The E7 Pro vs V3 page advertises 15 years without that desktop split. Read the current written terms.

Winner if you need a top longer than 80 inches: E7 Plus Max. Winner for listed two-leg cable bits: E7 Pro.

Who Should Buy Which

Get the current FlexiSpot E7 Pro if:

  • You want a two-motor configurable desk, not a four-corner frame
  • A typical two-leg top covers your surface
  • You want the 25 inch listed minimum and the listed cable bits
  • You accept a 440 lb maximum static load label, not a load test
  • You will not treat an older Amazon E7 listing as this desk

Price: $399.9920%

Get the FlexiSpot E7 Plus Max if:

  • You want one motor in each of four legs
  • You need the listed 51.4 inch maximum or a top longer than 80 inches
  • You want the included four-preset keypad with child lock and USB
  • You accept a 660 lb maximum static load label, not a load test
  • You will price the frame plus the top, not the starting tile alone

Price: $749.99

Buying Tips

  • Price the finished desk. Both starting prices change once you pick a top.
  • Do not rank 440 lb against 660 lb as lifting capacity. Both are maximum static load labels.
  • Measure elbow height. Confirm whether the Plus Max range is frame-only for your configuration.
  • Verify the exact FlexiSpot model. This page is not the E7 Plus. An older Amazon E7 listing is not the current E7 Pro.
  • If the other desk is UPLIFT, leave this page and use E7 Pro vs V3 or E7 Plus Max vs V3 4-Leg.
